Thanks for taking the time replying my post. I believe many of your opinions are correct. But I can not agree with you that we should keep monopolistic structure for this industry sector for ever. The reason is very simple: The monopoly will lead to inefficiency, high cost, and reluctance to advance the technologies. There is no doubt about this. The introduction of markets may or may not lead to high efficiency or low price; but this should not be the reason for stopping the deregulation. In summary, power systems may operate best technically if in a monopolistic structure, but it can't bring the best benefits to the customers in this way. ' B* F* C: Z8 m) GIt's pity that I couldn't open the both files you attached. I admit that there is significant downplay of importance of technical experience since the introduction of the markets. But I like the statement in the attached document (pages 9-11) that says major shifts have taken place in the sense of the dominant concerns and professions in electric power industry. 7 p @- L& j* ^# H5 E.
