We are looking for a number of temporary engineers to work for AREVA T&D in the UK for 1-2 years. There is also job opportunity in our company in China (most likely in Shanghai) after finishing this contract.
The British Council will be responsible to obtain the UK work permit for you.
The successful candidate will be paid between 1300 – 1500 GBP (British pounds) per month after tax. We will cover the travel costs to the UK from China.

AREVA T&D UK Ltd - Automation, Stafford is an international leader in Power System Protection, specialising in development and manufacture ring all kinds of protection relays for power utilities worldwide.
' S- `6 _+ b& z$ t4 WReporting to the project leader and supported by a dedicated engineering team, you will be responsible for algorithm research, software development and test for advanced numeric relays for various applications.
  ^* p2 @4 v# o7 z+ D" j  E0 CThe successful candidate will have a postgraduate degree in power engineering or a related electrical or electronic engineering discipline, and ideally will have worked within power system protection research and development. The experience in software developments using ‘C’ language is essential.
" z6 F* r% W+ x: x/ ]' UA working knowledge of protection relay applications and knowledge of substation automation and communication will be an advantage.  
$ p) X% k  X  s* r" z! mWe are looking for a flexible professional with excellent team and interpersonal skills, together with a methodical and organised approach to work.  It is essential you have a good level of English language.
