This paper proposes a modified Cultural-based Bee Optimization Algorithm to solve the stochastic optimal
power flow (SOPF) problem incorporating a set of wind farms to improve its efficiency and optimize power system generation. The proposed method has been tested under a number of modified IEEE test systems. The results show that solving the SOPF with the proposed algorithm are more effective than other swarm intelligence methods in the literature.
