As a solution architect within the Energy & Utility CoC, you will be expected to:0 z1 @: }9 }  Y) g" O
•        Develop and maintain key GBS IUN assets! I6 {/ u) s% i3 w' b7 g6 x( E7 }
•        Maintain IUN sales assets: references, approaches, IBM contacts, competitive analysis
! b. L& s9 l1 b# D•        Support IBM solutioning activities by providing specialist input into presentations and proposals8 F* ~- a- |# I4 C! e) x
•        Work with local account teams, apply specific experience to building smart grid or power generation solutions for clients
$ i# x2 k+ `  ]•        Build and lead internal communities of IBM industry practitioners through conference calls, online postings and generally connecting people/ G6 F! [8 `5 S0 B1 k# H" w
•        Lead or contribute to the creation of an IBM points of view on specific smart grid or power generation topic

•        An advanced degree, ideally some combination of electrical engineering, business administration and information technology8 n5 U8 P+ X. F  q* c3 T- C; ?( f
•        Considerable experience with the energy utility industry (electricity/gas distribution or electricity generation), typically gained through employment with a utility and/or several years of consulting, software or others services to the industry.
6 L" d7 l6 m. G. p) Y  c1 e8 ~2 o•        Specific skills and experience in one or more aspects of smart grid, smart metering or optimization of power generation, with a demonstrated ability to remain at the leading edge of utility and technology advancements1 c' h: T) ?* j( r# M

•        Strong written or oral communication skills in English 3 g  |9 c" t1 I) T- ]

•        Work with local account teams, apply specific experience to building smart grid or power generation solutions for clients

•        Support IBM solutioning activities by providing specialist input into presentations and proposals

•        Knowledge of EMS, DMS, OMS, SCADA system functionality
  V- [1 Z3 M3 S7 z4 N9 y•        Consulting or SI experiences in related fields is definitely a plus! g. N, y. x' n7 m6 I7 h' @
•        8 – 10 years Utility industry experiences
6 B  A- u( U2 T3 P4 s. I•        Major in power system automation, electrical engineering is definitely a plus
