In particular # T# q1 s# r" }8 l0 }1 O! zthe first chapter describes the power system control problem and the 8 |9 `( u6 B0 F) h+ m, Nvoltage control structures adopted in transmission, distribution and industrial$ z! S4 b+ R$ `1 m$ _3 K
electrical systems. The second chapter presents power system models that can 4 H! L, I$ c3 N6 S5 I9 Q- U6 Zbe usefully employed in voltage control design. The third chapter studies the2 E3 U4 |8 a5 l0 ~& m
properties of the Kalman filter used in the estimation of voltage and current- D* G c; n' L0 I) V) N
phasors. The subsequent two chapters deal with the discrete-time design of, 2 O! {! g. X& X u4 _( G9 E( X! frespectively, self-tuning and model-reference adaptive voltage controllers. The : L, ~# ^6 a9 j9 x9 ksixth chapter illustrates an adaptive design that is quite different from those & t- z; N0 ~.
