The monograph is structured into six chapters and an appendix. The first' Z6 L7 ^5 q2 M- `3 l7 |6 e
three chapters introduce the reader to the voltage control problem and the _9 ~0 h5 w6 [$ {3 W+ v$ U
subsequent three chapters illustrate different design methodologies. In particular 9 S/ x- c" [" _: I3 i6 ]! \" _the first chapter describes the power system control problem and the6 X- Z, f% z2 }" l2 Z
voltage control structures adopted in transmission, distribution and industrial' Y u: L9 n! j7 M6 R3 `
electrical systems. The second chapter presents power system models that can: r% u. ^9 [( }: _! a4 C
be usefully employed in voltage control design. The third chapter studies the 6 f# ]9 U2 U) b% s& s4 @/ Sproperties of the Kalman filter used in the estimation of voltage and current 3 a: y4 v7 g" i/ Aphasors. The subsequent two chapters deal with the discrete-time design of, $ e N' l) [( S: t& C9 A4 y3 S. Hrespectively, self-tuning and model-reference adaptive voltage controllers.
