PowerTech Conferences organized every two years, with the past editions at
Lausanne, St.Petersburg, Bologna, Porto, Budapest, Stockholm and Athens.

, S- C& G" u9 I' }4 G) G) o& q1 LThe PowerTech Conference maintains a suitable balance between
contributions from industry and academia and also provides a bridge
0 ]) k  C: j7 Q6 J" ^7 Rbetween generations. The interest from enthusiastic young practicing
engineers and PhD students wishing to publish their work increased from
$ w* E# E4 h; Z; m, E2 ~* {. x- A. Oevent to event.
The most valuable IEEE student work is recompensed with the Basil Papadias
award, which has been also an important ingredient toward the event’s

The event is sponsored by the IEEE Power Engineering Society and will be
organized by University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, Romanian Power Grid
Company TRANSELECTRICA S.A. and IEEE PES Romania Chapter.

The Technical Program of the conference will feature a broad range of
