Description of instrumentation involved in the testing, ranging from sensors, data acquisition, database management and data analysis. & w4 ^! ?7 G( m! y3 c# I8 QDiscussion of sensors, their principles, accuracy and calibration with special attention given to the anemometer, the strain gauge and voltage/current measurement transformers. 5 E' o) X5 p% J4 mLearning how to design and implement a data acquisition system based on LabView. : J% t9 n: {& w9 M" j9 _The lectures are combined with exercises founded in real wind turbine measurements, calibration of sensors in the laboratory and recording of real-time data from a 500 kW wind turbine sited at Risø.
