The TLINE program is used to calculate parameters of traveling wave lines.
; C( q! A% {9 E# v! vFor different model, the algorithm are different. 3 F" Q( m+ g: w! i
For example the most often used Bergron line,: n9 | Y* Z4 b
The results will be traveling time, surge impedance,Resistor and transformation matrix.; s1 E6 j% R) g9 A( a( i; e2 ^2 X; J
The 230KV, 60Hz, 100MVA is default value display on the program.
# x/ k2 }( H0 V6 i4 z3 f. `You can change those anyway.. @4 M- H! F) Y' G
However, those three are not used in the program at all.
( N F$ x' F A6 @8 M7 X# Y8 RTherefore, whatever you type, just for yourself reference, tline.exe doesn't use it.* j1 ~0 I* U1 c- d7 o8 g7 a
You don't need to worry about it at all.
1 B0 Q w9 ~0 A. `- |/ L( c$ Z: x- _There is some description of tline algorithm in chapter 4 of EMTP theory book.4 ^" f' y* x- `5 {3 c1 D
Notice that tline.exe is written by EMTDC people, it may not be exactly the same as EMTP.7 M2 o* r) J M% L& K. F
However, basic theory would be the same. |
