The TLINE program is used to calculate parameters of traveling wave lines. 6 ?) r2 e5 X5 R* s# ~
For different model, the algorithm are different. 7 n) [& s" Y+ A0 }8 p- |" t
For example the most often used Bergron line," N0 o# @. R- \6 v2 U
The results will be traveling time, surge impedance,Resistor and transformation matrix.4 D; D3 |: l2 @6 r7 O
The 230KV, 60Hz, 100MVA is default value display on the program.
. S: F( n L5 w/ Z x mYou can change those anyway.
/ }8 Z8 p- M/ Q- s7 X9 THowever, those three are not used in the program at all.3 a, d% z: T [' a0 Z
Therefore, whatever you type, just for yourself reference, tline.exe doesn't use it.
4 C" h0 I8 S: n. @' W5 tYou don't need to worry about it at all.
1 x% W0 m8 t% P, u6 KThere is some description of tline algorithm in chapter 4 of EMTP theory book.! {& y* d( r* F. D2 \& {
Notice that tline.exe is written by EMTDC people, it may not be exactly the same as EMTP.
! ^2 h, f9 X, w. S# r- H9 kHowever, basic theory would be the same. |
