The TLINE program is used to calculate parameters of traveling wave lines. / P! ~7 H6 j% U2 ~. H, u Z. I, z/ r
For different model, the algorithm are different.
5 L4 p3 r$ R! |" |) v u6 jFor example the most often used Bergron line,. f9 m+ M* C3 u { Y
The results will be traveling time, surge impedance,Resistor and transformation matrix.' ]( Z) `0 x; Q, J/ n
The 230KV, 60Hz, 100MVA is default value display on the program.# ?; H7 P6 E4 L' w) M6 D
You can change those anyway.
& }5 i$ M `# U- X$ ?- e* [However, those three are not used in the program at all.8 N1 I l% J% k5 p
Therefore, whatever you type, just for yourself reference, tline.exe doesn't use it.7 [0 {3 w$ b3 I5 _* }# h2 a
You don't need to worry about it at all.
; w% ^$ N u1 n! @3 jThere is some description of tline algorithm in chapter 4 of EMTP theory book.! f; J' G- a* }' [) H+ ^. ]0 j
Notice that tline.exe is written by EMTDC people, it may not be exactly the same as EMTP.
2 {" z' d4 g7 y0 H" g5 rHowever, basic theory would be the same. |
