The TLINE program is used to calculate parameters of traveling wave lines. ) u* ]% N# X4 `2 U, l: q" D
For different model, the algorithm are different.
: v$ ^- Q& y. B J$ z- d% \) }For example the most often used Bergron line,
w9 h. {- L3 d1 P! o$ [The results will be traveling time, surge impedance,Resistor and transformation matrix.- b3 V1 i# r. F c
The 230KV, 60Hz, 100MVA is default value display on the program.8 _& S" C, J, X+ J
You can change those anyway.; M6 N, H4 |1 ^) O" B
However, those three are not used in the program at all.: [6 o* h0 e2 f% F( i2 |- K
Therefore, whatever you type, just for yourself reference, tline.exe doesn't use it.
# P7 V( a+ d) a. T6 ^You don't need to worry about it at all.
) b! M. Y: m$ [8 w6 e% G+ JThere is some description of tline algorithm in chapter 4 of EMTP theory book.# T @* e. F, g4 N
Notice that tline.exe is written by EMTDC people, it may not be exactly the same as EMTP.
) H' g; d- O( R" [/ t k! eHowever, basic theory would be the same. |
