The TLINE program is used to calculate parameters of traveling wave lines. 9 @2 I" T2 M Y& w: k
For different model, the algorithm are different.
8 g0 s' E9 f; z2 r F5 eFor example the most often used Bergron line,
b; ~0 ^2 ]- q, [! T! F' j( ?) kThe results will be traveling time, surge impedance,Resistor and transformation matrix.& C) \+ Q: M% j4 H3 J% V+ H" K
The 230KV, 60Hz, 100MVA is default value display on the program.
2 Y9 p/ G9 {4 X, V0 F9 A8 mYou can change those anyway.
1 o9 ?' S: P3 N. e1 ^. KHowever, those three are not used in the program at all." d: H, e O5 q
Therefore, whatever you type, just for yourself reference, tline.exe doesn't use it.3 Y' A- b' D; H9 F* o' D2 k8 G
You don't need to worry about it at all.+ d/ T( ]5 H9 M. |' y' S
There is some description of tline algorithm in chapter 4 of EMTP theory book." E* q( `; v; e% s( q- H
Notice that tline.exe is written by EMTDC people, it may not be exactly the same as EMTP./ f& w8 x* ~( e1 c
However, basic theory would be the same. |
