The TLINE program is used to calculate parameters of traveling wave lines.
% p% k) t, i8 ~, S; YFor different model, the algorithm are different. 4 V0 J+ \: c& R6 |' l5 E
For example the most often used Bergron line,
' Z/ I+ J7 J& x9 t# m" |The results will be traveling time, surge impedance,Resistor and transformation matrix.% m% @' y& I, e
The 230KV, 60Hz, 100MVA is default value display on the program., K/ g' l& S8 o, k5 G( f
You can change those anyway.
' E! e' ~2 a) E4 CHowever, those three are not used in the program at all.
9 v+ y5 p/ w% A) m4 sTherefore, whatever you type, just for yourself reference, tline.exe doesn't use it.$ v+ e% X5 j& Z \5 `
You don't need to worry about it at all.
. ~' G: p2 {& W) n' z# Y2 n0 f) bThere is some description of tline algorithm in chapter 4 of EMTP theory book.
; @( M" P- @& M/ c. o1 oNotice that tline.exe is written by EMTDC people, it may not be exactly the same as EMTP.; J. [4 J0 b, A2 ]) T
However, basic theory would be the same. |
