Patch 4 uploaded March 13, 2014. Several severe bug fixes:
UM (type 58/59) machine. Control nodes; TACS output, power control, mass output sequence. Note that multi-mass power node rbecomes multi-phase and requires separate connections to single-phase TACS/MODELS nodes.
BCTRAN. In version 5.8 a correction was made to loss calculations for Auto-transformers, but unfortunately an index error was introduced for all other couplings affecting binary short circuit losses.
MOVN. This new multi-phase surge arrester with linear first segment control (ILIM) lacked the correct header in the ATP file.
DFT algorithm in power system toolbox. Various problems reported for 60 Hz usage. DELAY CELLS had to be incremented.
TAB characters in MODELS. Besides ATP error messages, ATPDraw could also experience problems displaying lines in the RTF editor containing only TABs. The solution was to simply replace TAB characters with SPACE when storing the Models text.
Variable restrictions with the internal parser. The internal parser can allow variations of data used in internal calculations (compared to ATPs PCVP), but full advantage of this was not taken. This applies to the ACSOURCE for instance.
Patch 5 uploaded August 10, 2014. Several severe bug fixes:
Probe-data dialog displayed incorrectly in Windows 8
XFMR component with secondary/tertiary Y-winding with phase shift 90, 210 and 330 deg had leakage inductance connected at the wrong side of the series resistance
