Large scale integration of wind and/or wave farms will require innovative integrated V3 r# \* _4 C9 j! ^6 U
approaches for the design of the energy conversion system, the layout of the farm itself, the2 ^0 V O' O7 o S& w# S
distribution system of the farm, and for the transmission of power to the distant shore.- B0 @' t: d/ B4 m* i
Conventional generation and power electronic conversion systems will be revised and adapted3 r0 K/ M9 J3 I6 [; }. i
