The TLINE program is used to calculate parameters of traveling wave lines. 4 Y3 R: Y. \# d: J* h
For different model, the algorithm are different. 3 W( j# Z4 q) S4 |
For example the most often used Bergron line,
: l, N& p5 Q8 N* Q gThe results will be traveling time, surge impedance,Resistor and transformation matrix.
4 [2 m. z8 F8 V- b0 LThe 230KV, 60Hz, 100MVA is default value display on the program.2 F' ~) d+ Z5 E: c/ @2 {1 o) }5 N: B
You can change those anyway.
2 j$ l9 a' Z9 z8 oHowever, those three are not used in the program at all.
0 _( d9 H. u. Y/ j) m# L/ X4 D9 K$ |( ITherefore, whatever you type, just for yourself reference, tline.exe doesn't use it.
5 K1 \4 }9 G0 {* h, CYou don't need to worry about it at all.
: x3 E9 L& F6 B/ IThere is some description of tline algorithm in chapter 4 of EMTP theory book.: o0 \- u% n2 P/ z9 g
Notice that tline.exe is written by EMTDC people, it may not be exactly the same as EMTP.
. r9 R( o8 Q% w4 k: C+ M8 U& g: BHowever, basic theory would be the same. |
