The electrical modeling and simulation engineer develops real-time models with cutting edge technologies for power system and electrical drive applications,works with top engineers worldwide and gets involved in a full range of engineering practices, from software to firmware, to hardware.
Main duties:
$ n  p' J/ `5 ]* N·       Conducts simulation studies for clients :
-       Model electrical circuits.
* U1 K7 a* C% P9 ?+ g4 \" a' Z. ^-       Validate evaluation model parameters.
! y) ~1 m9 Z" [-       Perform case studies and test cases.
& I7 ?( V, @; Q$ ?* ~% X-       Write reports.
·       Participate in electrical product development :
-       Draft product technical specifications.
-       Simulate and validate models.
·       Participate in technical seminars
-       Participate in overseas product roll-outs (10 % of the time).
6 E7 b0 R+ y/ B  m% E-       Participate in providing Opal-RT product training to both internal and external customers.
! l- M7 E9 u! m4 V, ?( x( j-       Perform product demonstrations.

·       Education: Masters in electrical engineering. Ph.D. is an asset, as well as a specialization in power electronic;
·       Required knowledge: Knowledge of power electronics, electric drives, power systems and energy conversion systems;
" m/ b$ g& D1 T3 V·       Basic knowledge of the following tools: MATLAB/Simulink, SimPower Systems and EMTP-RV or  pscad-EMTDC. Asset : RT-LAB, RTDS or dSpace Simulators;
" e3 Y8 L$ B7 s5 m9 T8 k·       Language: Excellent knowledge of Mandarin and English, Korean is an asset;
% B3 H( t9 x4 A! w1 l·       Skills sought: Organization,autonomy, discipline and determination, good communication skills, goodjudgment, analytical capacity and innovation.
·       Work hours: Flexible schedule of 20 hours/week during the internship
