Job description:
: g8 P6 W  Y. F& X0 y- }The electrical modeling and simulation engineer develops real-time models with cutting edge technologies for power system and electrical drive applications,works with top engineers worldwide and gets involved in a full range of engineering practices, from software to firmware, to hardware.
Main duties:
·       Conducts simulation studies for clients :
-       Model electrical circuits.
# u7 I8 V! k9 z  x-       Validate evaluation model parameters.
0 s8 q. H+ Q+ Y7 ~2 f7 n' x-       Perform case studies and test cases.
/ B2 z( e3 }+ g-       Write reports.
" _0 t8 ~* C) j8 z  y·       Participate in electrical product development :
6 z6 j3 `7 B5 G3 w-       Draft product technical specifications.
-       Simulate and validate models.
·       Participate in technical seminars
-       Participate in overseas product roll-outs (10 % of the time).
; d9 i9 B6 v/ a) m! Q+ ]-       Participate in providing Opal-RT product training to both internal and external customers.
9 _; M& u& @( m6 l% \- m5 e6 A-       Perform product demonstrations.
Requirements:
" Y  o7 S; T. B) j# m5 s·       Education: Masters in electrical engineering. Ph.D. is an asset, as well as a specialization in power electronic;
) u  w" }7 X% }% d) }# R8 d2 B·       Required knowledge: Knowledge of power electronics, electric drives, power systems and energy conversion systems;
& T. t5 H( V  v0 U1 [·       Basic knowledge of the following tools: MATLAB/Simulink, SimPower Systems and EMTP-RV or  PSCAD-EMTDC. Asset : RT-LAB, RTDS or dSpace Simulators;
- s* s, _+ A/ W8 ]# o·       Language: Excellent knowledge of Mandarin and English, Korean is an asset;
# F, B: a/ M- N·       Skills sought: Organization,autonomy, discipline and determination, good communication skills, goodjudgment, analytical capacity and innovation.
