Xuegong Wang 简介

XuegongWang, Ph.D, P. Eng. is the Digital Simulation and Research Engineer at theCentre and a senior member of the staff. Employed at the Centre since January1990, He is an expert in power system simulation, HVDC modeling, power flow, andtransient simulation. He has extensive project management experience throughhis work at the Centre and has been working with transient studies for over 15years. He has performed numerous transient studies in the past.

Farid Mosallat简介

FaridMosallat, M.Sc. is a Research, Simulation and Study Specialist at the ManitobaHVDC Research Centre since 2005. He received the B.Sc. degree from TabrizUniversity (Tabriz, Iran) and the M.Sc. degree from Sharif University ofTechnology (Tehran, Iran) in 1996 and 1998, respectively. He is also pursuingthe Ph.D. degree at the University of Manitoba. Prior to joining the Centre, heworked as an Automation and Drives Engineer in the manufacturing sector, andwas involved in the design and commissioning of electrical distribution/controlsystems for material handling equipment such as shipyard cranes,stacker/reclaimer systems, etc. His areas of expertise include industrialautomation, instrumentation, electric drive systems and power electronicconverters。
