偏执狂的职业选择（外企，高校，or 博士后）

今年而立，面临择业，纠结了一个多月，终于做出了一个偏执的选择。一方是上海500强外企，20万年薪，senior engineer，
一方是电科院读博士后，待遇仅能糊口。

我的选择是利用我人生中最黄金成熟的年龄，再读两年博士后。感觉自己确实很偏执，但唯有偏执狂才能生存，选择了就不后悔。

20萬年薪很優渥了當然先賺了再說
讀博可以在職進修
時間拉長點罷了

钱的问题在短时间内不会那么重要，人生还是要着眼于长期的追求。支持你的选择！

谢谢几位朋友的回复，其实这个问题有很多深层次的考虑，钱谁都缺，无论在上海还是北京普通的收入都无法比肩高胀的房价，90%的TX都对国内博士后不屑，都觉得要读就读国外的，要么就就业。其实我理解这种看法，国外博士后高薪还有海外经历，一举两得，国内苦而且无资历。我现在已经有1年的海外访学资历，我也了解国外博士后的所谓的科研环境，比较而言，国外轻松且收入高，自然是大部分人的首选，但有时感觉没有国内更有培养锻炼价值，当然这种说法也很偏颇，但对电力专业而言，我个人认为，在国内做博后有很重要的一点是积累人脉，这是国外博后所难实现的（对想进高校的肯定国外博后更好一些）。
中国电力企业技术水平提高的很快，所以从我的观点看，外企很快就会失去过去的高新技术的优势，跟国内企业相比，成本优势无法抗衡，如果技术上再被赶上，就只能拼市场了，大家说外企和国企拼市场谁赢的面大？所以这也是我不想去外企的原因，当然进去混资历等跳槽也是路，但再跳也跳不回体制内了，所以最终答案就是放齐外企。自古华山一条路，说实话不知道自己做出的选择是对是错，心中总有对家人的无限愧疚，到现在还要让LP和二老操心，希望能用以后的努力和拼搏将生活改善一些，让他们幸福一点。

LZ is a very promising young man. If you have already made a decision, I would encourage you go whatever you decide. You will be fine both way if you keep hard working.
If you still think about how to decide, I would comment as follows-
You are getting Ph.D. which means you have been very well trained in your area. Whether to do postdoc is not a necessary. I would think you shouldn't do postdoc unless you like to teach in university and you cannot find a professor job at this moment. For a Ph.D. and having a year visiting in a foreign university, you have been qualified for your career. It is time to start your work now.
The other thing is why not find a job in China EPRI directly. Postdoc is doing same work but with half pay. China EPRI is hiring people, if you like to join them, I guess you have good chance.
In the old days 20 or 15 years ago, postdoc is like a super Ph.D. in China, but now it changing to tempo job as in anywhere else. In some very complicated area, perhaps a complete training cannot be finished by Ph.D., such as math and physics. But in engineer, there is nothing more to teach you by the time you finish the Ph.D.

Anyway, only my personal opinion, may not be meaningful in some case.

Many thanks for your advice and concern. I appreciate your thorough consideration for me very much. I am still thinking about it.

It is really hard to make a decision, especially a wise decision. I am keeping an eye on the other opportunities now and hope to get more offers. I also considered the job of EPRI, which seems better than the postdoc whether from the stipend or experience. Normally life is not our imaging, and some small factors need to be considered more seriously, though I don't know whether it is right or not. From your analysis, 7#, yizhang, you are a smart, calm and wide-knowing person. I am very happy to get your suggestion, which is very helpful.

I will continue my thinking and searching. I think I will find an answer soon. I will share what I thinking with friends here, which is expected to be a reference or case of job-hunting.

国内博士后还是一种资历，和国外很不同；

国内博士后的工资水平和正式员工一样。按照国家规定，还要比普通职工多住房补贴。也可能各单位不一样，楼主须仔细询问，可以咨询CEPRI过来人了解一下情况。
