RV is a re-construction version of DCG version EMTP
DCG version is a extension of BPA version EMTP

BPA version EMTP is the original one, funded by US government,
so that it is free to everyone in anywhere.

When DCG started to market EMTP, the BPA version stopped and use the name ATP. ATP is a free version, and it has been continued by some volunteer. However, the progress is limited, since there is no stable team to support it since then.

Few years ago, DCG hired IREQ to re-do and market EMTP, which since then was called RV.

So perhaps RV is better now. But ATP is free.

The best EMTP type program, as far as I can see, is EMTDC (or called PSCAD) .

计算的原理应该是一样的，不过界面不同。
看个人喜好了，我觉得只要学通了，哪个都一样。
