ABSTRACT: A small disturbance voltage stability analysis
mathematical model of single load and infinite bus system is
presented including electromechanical transient model of
induction motor. The influence of induction motor parameters
on eigenvalues on a simple power system is analyzed. The
common physical essence of static voltage stability indices
based on power flow model is illustrated on a simple system.
The accuracy of static voltage stability indices based on power
flow model is analyzed by small disturbance voltage stability
analysis and dynamic simulation with different parameters of
induction motor. The results show that static indices based on
power flow model is not accurate. The system may lose voltage
stability which the static indices regard it is voltage stability.
The small disturbance voltage stability analysis mathematical
model in this paper is simplified analysis. It is expected to be
