It is a good story. I guess many people in US and Canada have such experiences. Canadian society is kind of multi-cultured, fairly forgiven and open to people from different origins. BC Hydro is also a very open company, many Chinese engineers work in BC hydro, among them some become very top experts in the power engineering community, such as Dr. Lei Wang and Dr. Wenyuan Li. Besides, Vancouver is a very nice place, mild and beautiful, and having about 20% of Chinese population. In fact, it really somehow likes China.

I hope Ms. Guo has an enjoyable career in BC Hydro.
