please come in and discuss about CPF
I am working on CPF by PSAT, anybody knows it?please come in and discuss together.-%-16945-%- 非常感谢,很有帮助 激动人心,无法言表! It is a free matlab code written by a guy in Waterloo.
The CPF seems not very nice in limits modeling. can you give some introduction about CPF first? You can reference Ajjarapu and Chiang's paper for basic idea. I am thinking and reading some papers for VSM(voltage stability margin). This VSM need CPF to calculate or not. I am not clear with that. Could you give me a clue?
[ 本帖最后由 powergirl 于 2007-8-16 07:55 编辑 ] The VSM(Voltage Stability Margin) mentioned by power girl should be about the static voltage stability. The conventional static voltage analysis is based on the power flow equations or JacobianMatrix of power flow equations. In order to obtain the VSM, the static voltage stability limit (or power limint) should be calculated firstly. However, a problem such as the singularity of the Jacobian matrix will be encountered at the limit point by the means the common power flow algorithms. This problem can be resolved by the CPF(Continued Power Flow). continuous power flow (CPF). simply put, you have a base power flow case, then you increase the total load in the sink area and increase the generation in the source area until the power flow could not solve. The point is usually referred to voltage collapse point (nose point). Surely it is more complicated than describe above. although i dont knowmuch abou it .i am very interested in it. I think maybe we can use uwpflow(http://thunderbox.uwaterloo.ca/%7Eclaudio/software/pflow.htm) and PSAT(http://www.power.uwaterloo.ca/~fmilano/) to observe the result using CPF. it is difficult for me to discuss,i do not something about it, who can introduce it in one or two sentences.
