我觉得读电力系统博士出来就业很窄，硕士就可以，你从事的和你学的没关系很正常，甚至有的电力博士被分到搞思想政治方面的科室去。读博士要选个牛导师，好学校。

    My personal opinion is-Ph.D. is a long term kind investment, you may not see the results right after you graduate. But you spent several years there, if you continue working in the area, you will see the benefit some day.
If anyone did a Ph.D., then stop to working in somewhere else, he may never get any benefit, which is like he bought a long term stock, but sold in short term, he may lose money, hehehe...
So I think, if someone likes to research or engineering work, he should do, if he doesn't, he should walk away. There are many businesses are much interesting and exciting than Ph.D. study in this world. It is not a good feeling to do a long term work if it is suffering instead of enjoying.

恩，张老师，这可能就是国内外大学读博士的区别所在吧。现在读电力系统专业博士或者硕士的，有几个人是将之视作 kind investment？每年各名校电气学院读研的分数线，为什么电自的总是远超其他专业？为什么只听说电自的被调剂到其他专业，而几乎未听说其他专业调剂到电自？为什么我院的一位老师（跟您很熟）一再跟自己的学生说目标放长远，不要要盯着电网公司...但自己带的博士找工作的时候还是一窝蜂的往电网公司调度或者本部挤？我想，这就是悲哀所在吧::sad::
