The wind turbine itself contains mostly metals (non-flamable under normal condition), a sudden increase in current resulting high temperature could be the cause (such as lightning strikes, electrical fault). Step up transformer can be located at the base or inside the shaft. If it's oil insulated, it might be the origin of wind turbine fire. Personally, I think you have to look into the flamable parts (such as cables, wiring, expolsive electronic devices, etc) of wind turbines, and think about where the most vulnerable parts are and at which parts temperature can be elevated. 太贵了 着不起啊!! 遭雷击了?
