Database of Wind CharacteristicsThis database contains four different categories of wind data: time series of wind characteristics, time series of wind turbine responses, wind resource data and wind farm data. These time series are primarily intended for wind design purposes and the resource data can be used for siting analysis. In the database you will find wind speed measurements, measured under different conditions and terrain types at 55 different locations inside Europe, Egypt, Japan, Mexico, Costa Rico and United States.
The database is compiled and maintained in Denmark by Kurt S. Hansen, Technical University of Denmark (DTU) together with Gunner C. Larsen, Ris?National Laboratories.

More than 190.000 hours of wind speed measurements representing 61 sites.
1900 hours of structural wind turbine response measurements, representing three different wind turbines ranging from 300 - 2.000 kW.
More than 880.000 hours of wind resource measurements, representing 30 different sites with a maximum period of 14 years.
More than 19.000 hours of windfarm measurements, from two different windfarms in UK & DK.
Online measurements (wind, el.power & structural) loads from an instrumented 500 kW / 41m Nordtank wind turbine, which is located at Ris?campus, are available for student exercises. 我也想要～ 4# achipmunk
